NEW ELLENTON, S.C. - Completed life's journey and entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 31, 2008, Mr. Robert B. Watson, Jr., age 61, of New Ellenton, S.C., widower of Jean Drawdy Watson and son of Mary Smith Watson Turner and the late Robert B. Watson, Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Robert G. Watson of North Augusta, S.C., Michelle Mears of Aiken, S.C. and Danny E. Rogers of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Ann Arnold of New Ellenton, S.C.; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was born in Greenville, S.C., but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was retired from Westinghouse Savannah River Site and after retirement, he was employed by Aiken Limousine Service. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of an Antique Car Club, and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence of Michelle Mears at 2646 Ramblewood Rd., Aiken, S.C., tonight, Tuesday, April 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
