AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, March 29, 2008 at her residence, Mrs. Ethel B. Aldrige, wife of the late Ret. Sgt. A. G. Aldrige of Azelea St. Mrs. Aldrige was a dedicated member of Bethel A.M.E. Church for over fifty years and a class member. She leaves to mourn a devoted son, Greg Aldrige; devoted sister, Mrs. Barbara Williams; devoted brother, Robert (Sandra) Bailey; devoted nieces, Mrs. Andrea C. Johnson, Mrs. Janice Henderson, Mrs. Lynn Little; other nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held April 2, 2008 at Bethel A.M.E. Church at 12 noon with Rev. Mark S. Pierson officiating. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. The funeral procession will leave Brunswick Ave. at 11:30 a.m. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of the services and will not be viewed after the eulogy. Friends may call at the residence of her sister or the funeral home. The Historic Dent's Undertaking Establishment serving the CSRA since the 1800's.
