AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Lillie M. Nixon Bland, 66, of Poplar Street, entered into rest March 30, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Bland, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Bland, Augusta; two daughters, Edna Loretta Dobbs, Augusta and Debra Martin, North Augusta; a son, Leon Wright, Augusta; two brothers, Teddie Lee Nixon, Augusta and Freddie Lee (Barbara) Nixon, Peoria, Ill.; great aunt, Annie Mae Martin, Beech Island, S.C.; son-in-law, Michael A.
