HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Miss Brittany V. Gillam, 21, of Fairington Drive, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Irvin officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. Miss Gillam, a native of Augusta, graduated in 2005 as Salutatorian from T.W. Josey High School. In 2006, she was an honor graduate at Augusta Technical College. She was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church where she sang on the Youth Choir. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Gillam. Survivors are her parents, DeLon and Valerie Hampton, Hephzibah; devoted grandparents, Wallace and Juanita Gillam, Augusta; nephew, Kamari Gillam; aunts, Laverne Broadwater, Charlene Moore, Deirdre Hampton, Augusta, Shanda Hampton, Hephzibah; uncles, Leroy (Sharon) Lark, Decatur, Ga., Mitchell Ferguson, Stone Mountain, Ga., Wallace Gillam, Jr., Carl Russaw, Asia Lindsay, Augusta, Deon (Debra) Hampton, Hephzibah; devoted great uncle, William Lark, Sr., Boothwyn, Pa.; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
