Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are his wife, Katie Andrews Perkins; three sons, James Lawfett (Katherine) Perkins, Jr. and Christopher L. Perkins, both of Augusta and Travis D. Perkins, Denver, OH; four daughters, Elizabeth W. Jones, Ft. Bennings, GA, Tonya M. Andrews, Denver, CO, Linda T. (Gregory) Perkins-Ziegler, Augusta and Katie M. Andrews, Denver, CO; twelve grandchildren; six brothers, Virgil G. (Christine) Perkins, Jr., Augusta, Willie (Barbara) Perkins, Columbus, OH, Roosevelt Perkins, Joel (Gail) Perkins and Leslie (Elaine) Perkins, all of Augusta and Jimmy (Della) Perkins, Columbus, OH; two sisters, Carrie Perkins, Columbus, OH and Ruthie M.
