Beginning Tuesday, parking prices at Augusta Regional Airport will increase to $8 per 24-hour period for the short-term lot and $6 for the same period in the long-term lot.
The first 40 minutes in all parking lots will continue to be free, according to an airport news release.
Officials also will revert back to having two short-term parking lots and one long-term lot after having just one large lot during the terminal construction project. The change is needed because the parking area directly in front of the main terminal has been consistently reaching capacity, the release states.
