AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. George L. Chavous, 54, of Bayvale Rd, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at MCG. He was the beloved husband of 34 years to Shirley Chavous. He was the son of the late Warren and Hattie Chavous. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30, 2008, at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Ray Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
