AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, March 24, 2008 at Augusta Hill Nursing Home, Mrs. Fannie Appling of Bennett Ln. Mrs. Appling was a native of Augusta. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Mary Miller of Washington, D.C.; one son-in-law, Robert Lee Walker, Sr.; a devoted and loving granddaughter, Regina Griffin (David); nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; five great- great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1 p.m. from Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Vernon-Key Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Tim Walker officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at 3741 Monte Carlos Dr. or the funeral home. The Historic Dent's Undertaking Establishment serving the CSRA since the 1800's.
