AUGUSTA, Ga. - Miss Jasmine S. McCladdie, of Apple Valley Drive, entered into rest Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Lucy C. Laney High School Gymnasium with Rev. Alexander Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Second Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Appling, Ga. She was a native of Richmond County, Ga., a member of Second Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, and a student of Lucy C. Laney High School, where she was a cheerleader and an Ikette. Survivors are mother and father, Kisha and Tony Humphrey; stepmother, Tara Stallings, all of Augusta; three sisters, Shatonia Berry, Tonneithia Humphrey, Toni Wallace, Augusta, Tonneithia Humphrey, Savannah; five brothers, Francisco Berry, Jr., James Stallings, Michael Stallings, Aukuan Freeman, and Quashawn Humphrey, all of Augusta; grandparents, Linda McCladdie, Raymond and Rosa Evans, Augusta, Leroy and Lillie Burns, Appling, Ga.; great-grandmother, Pearl McCladdie, Augusta; great-grandfather, Bertha Garnett, Appling, Ga.; godfathers, Gerrod Parks and Francisco Berry, Sr., Augusta; aunts and uncles, Phyllis Brown, Felicia McCladdie, Carlos McCladdie, Victor Brown, Jalen Burns, Augusta, Martine Burns, Nakia (James) Thompkins, all of Appling, Ga.; devoted friends, Shaquilla Walker, George Hayes; devoted cousin, Gary Hammond; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. School bus accident causes minor injuries

A Richmond County school bus with seven special education students on board was involved in an accident that resulted in minor injuries, district spokesman Louis Svehla said.
