AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Otto Charles Alford, age 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Kevin Steele officiating. Mr. Alford was a 1949 graduate of Auburn University where he received a degree in Agriculture. He retired as a Computer Programmer from Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Mr. Alford was a member of National Hills Baptist Church and loved to spend time reading. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Alabama. Survivors include one brother, Dr. Richard K. (Bonnie) Alford of Hartselle, AL; one sister, Juanita Corgill of Augusta, GA; four nieces and nephews, Diane (Ken) Daniel of Evans, GA, Debbie (John) Seay of Hartwell, GA, Nicole (Eric) Mashburn of Hartselle, AL, Jason (Debbie) Alford, Colorado Springs, CO, eight great nieces and nephews, one great great niece, and longtime friend; James Jordan.
