AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Catherine Meeker Daniel, wife of the late A.W. 'Hoss' Daniel, entered into rest on Wedneday, March 26, 2008, in Augusta. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2008, at 3:00 P.M. from Botsford Baptist Church with the Reverend Wayne Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Botsford Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel will lie in state at the church from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of the service. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband in 2002; a sister, Arlene Zittrouer; and brothers, Alvin Meeker and John L. Meeker. Mrs. Daniel, the daughter of the late Gilford Fred and Lillian Evans Greiner Meeker, was a native of Chatham County, GA, but had lived most of her life in Waynesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of Botsford Baptist Church. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, A.W. and Nancy Daniel, Jr. of Waynesboro; daughters and son-in-law, Arlene Daniel of Augusta and Carole and Jerry Bedichek of Augusta; sister, Carolyn Bell of Augusta; six grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Adam Daniel and Austin Daniel, Troy Bedichek, Dennis Bedichek and Jeremy Bedichek; four great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Elizabeth Harris. Pallbearers will be Mike Hood, PatJohnson, Jerry Walker, David Quick, Greg Coursey and James McManus.
