Rants and raves

THE COLISEUM AUTHORITY is a joke. What more do they need to do to get on 20/20 or 60 Minutes? Man!

BY ELECTION DAY, we will have paid three senators for almost two years for work not done. They will have been paid to further their own ambitions.

A RANT FOR The Chronicle . You won't print rants against the Richmond County school teachers who aren't doing their jobs, and you won't print a rant about the Richmond County police. Until they start enforcing the speed limit, nobody's got any respect for them.

WHO CAN GET EXCITED about qualifying for the ECHL playoffs when all but one team in our division makes it?

A RANT TO THOSE school board attorneys who lack the courage to remove incompetent teachers and disruptive pupils from our school classrooms.

WE WOULD LIKE TO thank the Columbia County sheriff's deputies that came to the rescue of a doe that was stuck in a fence at a storage and sod business on Blanchard Road.

I MOVED TO AUGUSTA almost two years ago. I live near River Watch Parkway. I would like to say thank you to the family and friends of Brandon. I heard the story of what happened from my girlfriend. I think it is really great that you think about him and take the time to take care of the cross. Thank you.

WE ALL NEED TO PRAY every day for country.

I THINK The Chronicle should do an in-depth article on the trillions we are spending on illegal aliens.

RAVE FOR THE Augusta Lynx hockey team. The fans believe in you. You have beaten every team in this division. You can do it again. We're with you all the way.

THE CLINTONS REALLY scare me.

WHO CARES ABOUT THE governor of New York going out with prostitutes?

OK, FORT GORDON. It is time to repair that hole on 36th Street across from Burger King. That hole has been there for over a year. And putting a cone in the middle of the hole is not the way to repair holes. Our military deserves better than this.
