AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy K. Salts, widow of Ray Salts, of Satcher Blvd. died on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her residence. She was 84 years old. A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Poteet Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, 706-798-8886. Rev. Marion Jay will officiate. Following the memorial service, the family will receive friends until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal services will be held at Green Acres Memorial Park in Clarksville, Tennessee at a later date. Mrs. Salts was a longtime volunteer at Eisenhower Medical Center and member of the Ft. Gordon Ladies Golf Association. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
