MARTINEZ, Ga. - Dorothy Loraine Jarrard Jones entered into rest on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Trinity Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Kiokee Baptist Church Cemetery on Schucraft Road, Appling, Ga., with the Reverend William F. Harrell officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside. Survivors include one son, Guy Michael Jones, Augusta; two daughters, Susan Warren, Oak Hill, Florida and Carolyn Shinkle, Appling; Her grandchildren April Landrum, Frances Gibson, Johnny Warren, Jr., Elizabeth Jones and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Jarrard McCarter and Ruth Jarrard Shepard, of Boston, Ga. Loraine had a deep love of family and friends. She will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in memory of Loraine Jones c/o Carolyn Shinkle, 2855 Bowen Road, Appling, GA 30802.
