WRENS, Ga. - Mr. Walter 'Memp' Berry, 51, entered into rest Sunday, March 23, 2008. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Ways Grove Baptist Church, Wrens, with Rev. Thomas Berry officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He will be sadly missed by his loving family: four sisters, Lillie Nelson, Rosa (Eddie) Lamb of Wrens, Linda Hannah of Lithonia, Ga. and Brenda Berry of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three brothers, Ray Berry, Sr., George Berry and Andrew Berry, all of Wrens; adopted sister and brother, Antee Roberts and Albert (Dorothy) Nelson of Wrens; aunt, Mary Berry and a special and devoted friend, Willie Mae Carlyle of Waynesboro, Ga.
