AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Herman Odell Ganus, 83, beloved husband of the late Marcelle D. Ganus entered into rest on Wednesday March 19, 2008 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Westview City Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Todd officiating. Mr. Ganus attended Lake Park Baptist Church and was retired from the Public Service Department - Streets & Drains Division of Augusta-Richmond County. Mr. Ganus is survived by his daughter, Elaine Crozier and husband Joe, his sister, Delene Wright, his four grandchildren, Amanda Herron-Winter and husband Jason, Ernest W. Herron, Kathleen M. Crozier, and Christopher J. Crozier, his great-grandchild, Wayne Winter, one sister-in-law, Florence Masters Herron, and his lifelong friends, Charles & Connie Holsonbake and Ken Lunceford. Mr. Ganus was preceded in death by his wife Marcelle D. Ganus and his son Harry Wayne Herron.
