Broadus E. Berry (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Broadus E. Berry, 86, of Pisgah Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest March 19, 2008 will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the North Augusta Southern Methodist Church. Rev. H. B. Johnston. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Berry was a native of Newberry, SC having made North Augusta his home for the past 59 years. He was a member of the North Augusta Southern Methodist Church where he had served as Church Treasurer and a Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Berry had served as the Treasurer of the South Carolina Conference of the Southern Methodist Church and was retired from Richmond Produce Company. He was the father of the late Jimmy Berry. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Reba Harmon Berry; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Lynn Berry, North Augusta; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Jean and David Drawdy, Augusta and Gayle and Chris Whitley, North Augusta; two brothers, Herman Berry, Columbia, SC and Bobby Berry, Ada, Oklahoma; a sister, Ethel Reese, Tryon, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Berry, Travis Berry, Stephen Berry, Michael Berry, Chris Whitley, Jr., Glen Brannen, Gene Drawdy and Tony Drawdy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 to 8.
