AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Tammy Kay James Holmes, 44, wife of Marc Holmes went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverends Marion Jay and Wayne Todd officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughters, Nancy and Brittany Holmes of Augusta; one grandchild, MacKenzie Holmes; brothers, Ted James of Augusta, Byron James of Beech Island, SC, Kevin James of Augusta, Kenneth James of Waynesboro and Chris James of Evans; sisters, Joyce Quattlebaum of Augusta, Donna Shea of N. Augusta, SC, Nancy Todd of Augusta, Sally Pearl of Evans and Sandra McDonald of Hephzibah. Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her brothers Phillip and David James. Mrs. Holmes was born in Augusta, GA to the late Vernon and Mary Rowland James and was a member of Miracle Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Holmes, Michael Holmes, Ryan Schneider, Dean Summers, Randy Henderson and Russell Henderson.
