BELVEDERE, S.C. - Mrs. Wilma B. Chavous, beloved wife of the late Joseph D. Chavous Jr., entered into rest Monday, March 17, 2008 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Michael Davenport officiating. Mrs. Chavous retired from Gracewood State School and Hospital as a cook and was a member of Barton Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters Linda Faye (Johnny) Anderson, North Augusta, SC and Glenda Kay Degenhardt, Belvedere, SC; grandchildren Shelley (Danny) Cannon and Johnny (Rose) Anderson Jr.; great-grandchildren Silas Cannon, Olivia Cannon and Kadence Anderson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, March 20, 2008 from 6-8 pm.
