Drumlines from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia will face off at 7 p.m. Saturday at Augusta State University, 2500 Walton Way. Tickets to the beat-it-or-get-beaten battle are $10, available at Pyramid Music, the Paine College bookstore and the Augusta State University bookstore.

The Way of the Cross community art walk, a self-guided, interactive art walk, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday along the 900 block of Broad Street. The walk features pieces by Augusta-area artists.
