AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Willie Thomas Stewart of 7th Ave. entered into rest Friday, March 14, 2008 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gregory Fuller officiating. He was a native of Richmond County, Ga.; a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the Robert Lamar Chorus and the Trustee Board; a United States Army Veteran; a Civil service employee at Fort Gordon Military Base, where he was a Supply/Purchase Supervisor and employed at Medical College of Georgia as a Nursing/Assistant. He was also a caregiver. Survivors are one daughter, Sharon (Joseph) Hill, Augusta; one son, Christopher (Juanita) Stewart; one sister, Ida (Samuel) Johnson, all of Augusta; six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
