GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Walter B. Campbell, 70, husband of Mrs. Cealy W. Campbell entered into rest March 15, 2008. Memorial services will be held Today at 1 PM at Grove First Baptist Church, Grovetown, Ga. with the Reverend Frank Thigpen officiating. Mr. Campbell was born in Huntsville, Alabama and was a resident of Grovetown. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. Mr. Campbell served as a Chaplain of the Grovetown Police Dept. and worked in the Grovetown Public Safety Reserve Office. Mr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Cealy Campbell; three sons, Jerry (Jackie) Campbell, Harlem, Terry (Tonya) Campbell, Missouri and William (Mona) Campbell, N.C.; one daughter, Lisa C. Wright, Grovetown; two brothers, Kenneth Campbell, Alabama and Bill Campbell, California; two sisters, Frances Brooks, Tennessee and Trudy Smith, Arizona; and nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
