AUGUSTA, Ga. - Memorial Services for Mr. Rory Partin, 30, of Villa Lane, Martinez, GA who entered into rest March 16, 2008 will be conducted Thursday evening at six o'clock from the Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Burleson officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later time. Rory was a native of North Augusta having made Martinez his home for the past seven years. He was a 1995 graduate of North Augusta High School. Rory's passion was racing motorcycles. He was a member of the WERA Motorcycle Roadracing Association. Rory was currently third in points standing in the B Superstock Novice division. He had a passion for living life and will be fondly remembered for his good humor and love of people. Rory was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Partin and paternal grandfather William Partin. Survivors include his mother and her fianc Debbie Rearden and Ken Oliphant; a sister and brother-in- law, Rachel and Matthew Staup; his loving girlfriend of over six years, Christie Plyler; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Rudy Modugno; a paternal grandmother, Catherine Partin; he was also loved by an uncle, several aunts and many cousins.
