EVANS, Ga. - Annie Laurie Woodcock Willis, beloved mother of Gerald of Alexandria, Va. and Robert Willis of Evans, Ga., passed away at Westwood Nursing Facility, Evans, Ga., on March 15, 2008. Annie was born December 17, 1914 and was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivey L. Woodcock. She was a long-time resident of Morehead City, N.C. She often helped out at the polls during elections and was a practical nurse, who took care of many patients over the years providing them with loving attention. She is survived by her brother, Otis Eugene Woodcock of Colorado Springs, Colo.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, George "Pinky" Willis; three brothers, Ollie, Worth, and Alton; and a grandson, Stanley. The family will receive friends between 7-8 p.m. March 20th at Munden Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Munden Funeral Home, 2112 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC, with Rev. Jesse and Rev. Joe Caton officiating.
