WILLISTON, S.C. - Funeral service for Evelyn Doris 'Dot' Meeks, 77, will be held four p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Graveside service will be held one p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, SC. Memorials may be given to The First Baptist Church of Williston, P.O. Box 366, Williston, SC 29853 or Gideon International, Memorial Bible Chairman, P.O. Box 86, Williston, SC 29853. Mrs. Dot died on Monday, March 17, 2008. Born in Clinton, SC she was a daughter of the late Furman and Susie Kernells Wright. Dot and James owned and operated Main Street Beauty Shop for many years in Williston. She was a member of Williston First Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband James Marvin Meeks of the home, a brother Joe Wright of Greer, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.
