President Bush has been wrong, he has always been wrong and he continues to create problems.
He created the housing crisis by allowing people who should never have a house buy one. They allowed lenders to loan and charge only interest. Why? Because it makes the economy and the president look good in a supposedly vibrant family economy.
The dollar continues to depreciate, and we continue immigration where it should be stopped completely and corrected. There is going to be a tax increase because they have destroyed this economy. Garbage in, garbage out.
Robert L. Nazarete, Martinez
I didn't know Bush had that much power to put a gun to someone's head to force them to buy a house that they couldn't afford!!!! WOW, now that is POWER baby!! Now granted, I really don't like Bush for his other worthless qualities, but this is NOT one of them. I honestly cannot blame Bush for this, and certainly neither can this author! No Government has the RIGHT to force people to spend their money in any way shape or form! Wake up Robert of Martinez!!!!!
Dude sounds mad.... but not that I am crazy bout BoneHead, but this time, its not his fault. Bush did not make you buy that.
Yes, he personally allowed these people to buy houses they could not afford. He misses the point that many of these buyers were speculators who bet on flipping houses to make money, lost the bet, and walked away from the loan and the house. We continue immigration? Is that a government policy, does he not understand that Congress voted for a fence, but they did not allocate any money for it. A slow day at the LTE section of the AC, three letters in one day with no substance.
It's all Bush's fault as usual.
LOL...so when I bought my house a couple of years ago, after I filled out all the paperwork and they stepped out of the room for a minute, what they were really doing was asking Bush for his approval for me to buy the house?!! OH MY GOD!!!! This is the funniest thing I've ever read. Well, next to the "axes of evil" from good old "Dr" Gunby yesterday.
Man, Bush is gonna have a pretty good looking resume when he applies for his next job. In the past 8 years he created and directed a hurricane, masterminded the Sept 11 attacks and covered it up, made up intelligence and somehow got foreign intelligence agencies to believe it, stole all the Iraqi oil and gave it to his buddies, jacked up the price of gas and approved the loans for everybody who bought a house. All this despite the fact that he is a complete idiot. He has been busy.
All you have to do to see the source of this problem is to watch the infomercials late at night. Buying and selling houses you do not intend to live in and living a lavish lifestyle (because you deserve it) are all over the place. No - GREED is the word and the cause. Somebody pretty smart onces said "the love of money is the root of all evil." The letter write HAD to mean this as a joke - among liberals, President Bush would NEVER be seen as capable of writing a loan. ;-)
Bush was at his meanest when he sent that hurricane to New Orleans, but he showed his true colors when Duke got beat by Clemson and he tore a hole in the Charlotte Coliseum roof. This week Bush sent pollen to Augusta. That Bush is really mean.
He must be like Gregori Rasputin or Obi wan Kenobi being able to alter peoples minds. Pretty cool stuff. I remember sitting and trying to make a pen move all day long with telekinetic powers. The pen won and I moved. hee, hee. Thanks for clearing that up Patti I always thought it was Jimmy Carter who was causing all the pollen.
Gosh. And the lefties had me almost convinced that Bush was a dumb person. Now I find that he can part the waters. These people haven't yet accepted the fact that Bush is on his way out. I know this upsets them to hear this , but folks, he has less than a year left.
History will show Bush as a great president who protected this nation while those that follow him won't have the will or courage to do so. He also doesn't listen to the media which is a good example for all of us.
Robert, I hope you stayed in a Holiday Inn last night
The DEPTHS of liberal stupidity get deeper each day. "He created the housing crisis by allowing people who should never have a house buy one. They allowed lenders to loan and charge only interest. Why? Because it makes the economy and the president look good in a supposedly vibrant family economy." I do not recall asking Bush to "allow" me to buy my house. I bought my house all on my own, thanks. "They" allowed lenders to loan and charge only interest? Well, Mr. Nazarete, back in the day, banks considered mortgages to be as good as gold, b/c they had extremely high standards for extending a mortgage, the borrower had to produce a 20% down payment, had to buy the house he could afford, etc. THEN came president Carter, who accused the industry of "redlining," because he noticed that it was harder for poor people to get a loan to buy a house that might get burned down in a riot next week, than it was for rich people to buy a mansion. The industry as a whole was REQUIRED to "loosen" credit, or face gov't mandates to make it more "fair." Well, they made it more fair, and guess what? Turns out that people w/no money frequently don't know how to manage money. Shocking...I may swoon...
Man, Bush must be like some kind of God or something. I wish he'd conjure me up a Pony.
Do that mean we got to PAY for this plasma TV that salesman made us buy?!
I guess President Bush is also responsible for the fact that Mr. Nazarete refuses to let people be responsible for their own actions and outcomes. I don't think Mr. Bush was present at the closing of mortgage loans which people signed knowing that they really couldn't afford to overextend themselves. What an outrageously silly LTE that should never have been printed in the first place. Neither the president nor the congress can legislate or regulate ignorance. I think that ignorance is a more serious national threat than any Muslim nation.
~~~~~Still Laughing at all the comments~~~~~~
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahah
Looks like everyone is on the same page with this one.
I want a fancy sports car, but I do not buy one because it is not within my budget. Many of these people in home trouble are probably the same ones that go to title pawn places. I probably just offended someone with that line, but I don't care.
Signal Always, I keep wishing for the pony, but all I ever get is the horse&^$%&^
If this is all true, maybe us Georgia fans can get Bush to conjure us up a win over Xavier tomorrow.
this country has turned into a bunch of [filtered word],liberals and losers.always want to blame someone else for there failure in life.
And just think, with all the money we get back in our tax rebates (or should I say "borrowed money from CHINA") we can pay back the tax increase that Congress just passed! That should boost this economy! One hand wipes the other butt cheek!
I agree, Deborah, we should elect Democrats so we can REALLY mess up the economy. /sarcasm. Just because Bush has been a fiscal liberal doesn't mean I'm going to vote for a real liberal in next election. Hopefully, one day, we can get a true fiscal conservative in the White House. I'm not that much of a social conservative.
