THE PLOT: In this action thriller, the president has been the target of an assassination attempt during a conference in Spain. The film goes back in time and we see the assassination attempt and the resulting explosions from the viewpoints of several people as they try to piece together what really happened.
MY THOUGHTS: The movie was an exciting whodunit. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes mysteries or action.

THE PLOT: Will Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a washed-up, one-hit wonder who now owns, coaches and plays for an American Basketball Association team. His team, the worst in the league, finds itself struggling to survive when the ABA announces that it will merge with the National Basketball Association, taking its top four teams with it. So, to get into the NBA, the team must prove itself by accomplishing something that has eluded it for a very long time -- winning.
MY THOUGHTS: Mr. Ferrell's typically stupid antics pair with an unexciting plot to create a film that is certainly not worth the price of the movie ticket. Mediocre acting, predictable punch lines and a fair amount of cheesiness make this one of Mr. Ferrell's worst.
