AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Kathleen Purvis Suggs, 80, widow of the late Quinnie Suggs, entered into rest on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 3:00PM at Platt's Belair Road Chapel with Dr. William Harrell and Chaplain Steve Russ officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. She is survived by a son, Randall Suggs and his wife, Andee, of Lincolnton, three daughters, Barbara S. Kemp and husband, Lewis of Evans, Betty S. Whitehead and husband, Sollie, of Claxton, GA., and Quinette S. Kelly and husband, Gene, of Martinez, and a brother, Ralph Anthony Purvis and wife, Jewel, of Gaithersburg, MD. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Purvis and a sister, Willie Mae Crumney.
