AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Rena 'ReRe' Rebecca Walker Skinner, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Doctors Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Sterling B. 'Bubba' Skinner, III. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Elliott Sons Lumpkin Road Chapel with Reverend Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joey Skinner, Harmon Skinner, John Bacino, Ricky Waters, Scott Waters and Zachary Skinner. A native of Augusta, Rena was the daughter of the late Harmon Walker and the late Nancy Jones Walker. She retired from the V.A. Hospital. Rena was a member of Trinity On The Hill United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a member and past President of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and a volunteer with Camp Rainbow. Survivors include three daughters, Nan Woodruff (Eddie) and Pat Graham (Danny) both of Martinez, Georgia and Becky Skinner of Augusta, Georgia; two grandchildren, Niki Milford (Michael) and Scott Graham; two great grandchildren, Noah Milford and Jonah Milford; one sister, Gloria Skinner, Lincolnton, GA and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1899 Central Avenue, Augusta, Ga. 30904.
