AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Betty West Sawyer, 76, of Yates Drive, Augusta, GA, who entered into rest March 13, 2008, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Sawyer officiating. Interment in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Sawyer was a native Clearwater having made Augusta her home home for the past 41 years. She was the wife of the late Mr. Cecil K. Sawyer. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Vicki Sawyer, Belvedere and Billy and Darlene Sawyer, Hepzibah; four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Lonergan andVirginia Foust, both of Grovetown, Patsy and Edwin Reese, Clarks Hill, and Katherine and William Hawkins, Brownstown, IN; a brother, Charles West, Augusta; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tracy Hooper, Brandon Garrett, T. J. Vann, Buddy Powell, Brad West, Larry Sawyer, Jr. and Justin Corley.
