He leaves cherished memories to his devoted family; mother, Ruth (Ray) Gilbert; father, Emmett (Hattie) McGruder; siblings, Derrick (Diane) Miller, Gale Hill, Nedra (Jessie) Willis, Wayne Miller, Iris Miller, Chanone (James) Ross, Alfred (Donna) Miller, Alfreda Murry, Kimberly Little, Pamela Miller, Angela Miller, Marri Sudduth, Emmett (Alonda) Miller, Jr., Mark (Deena) Miller, Johnny Ray (Beverly) Gilbert, Anthony Gilbert, Mary Ann Gilbert; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Truitt, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
