AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Anna L. Polk Freeman, who entered into rest on March 11, 2008, will be conducted this Monday, March 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Historic Spirit Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Glasper Nero officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Cherishing fond memories of Anna are a stepdaughter, Jeanette Rogers; stepson, John Bryant; two sisters, Ms. Mary P. White and Ms. Martha P. Lyons; one brother, Mr. Robert L. Polk, Sr.; devoted friend, Ms. Sallie Merriweather; two sisters-in-law, Ms. Lillie Mae Polk and Ms. Ruby Williams; goddaughter, Ms. Cheryl Wilson; devoted cousins, Silas and Gloria Holmes; Browns Helping Hands Personal Care Home; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
