AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, March 14, 2008, Mr. William M. "Bill" Robertson, 77, husband of Alice Prescott Robertson. Mr. Robertson was a native of Redding, Ohio, but had lived in the Augusta area most of his life. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #509 and attended Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church. Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters and sons-in-law: Teresa R. and Bilbo Garrison of North Augusta, SC, Kimberly R. and Robert Ridge of Cumming, GA; sons and daughters-in-law: Darrell and Silke Robertson of Augusta, Chris and Cindy Robertson of Flowery Branch, GA; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters: Annie Ricketson of Augusta and Muriel Allen of Loganville, GA. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Bob Hoeller and Rev. Tom Compton officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Robertson, Andrew Garrison, Steve Allen, Phil Allen, Jonathan Keough and Cody Merrell. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
