JACKSON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Davis, 41, of Third Street, Jackson, SC, who entered into rest March 12, 2008, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Matlock Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Riser and Dr. Bob Halstead officiating. Interment in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was a native of Atlanta, Georgia having made Jackson her home for the past year. She was employed as a nurse at University Hospital and was a member of Matlock Baptist Church. Jennifer was a loving wife and mother and a devoted Christian who had a love for music and a tremendous love and passion for people. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce R. Johnson. Survivors include her husband Rev. Blair L. Davis; a son, Charles M. Davis and a daughter Hannah N. Davis, both of Jackson; her father, Walter Spratlin, Morganton, Georgia; a brother, Brian Spratlin, Morganton, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Mark Edwards, Al Lee, Butch Davis, Brian Henderson, Kyle Baker and Austin Frazier. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at the funeral home from 3 to 5.
