GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Christopher Charles Kitchens, 45, of Calhoun St., entered into rest Friday, March 14, 2008 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center, Thomson. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sheppard Funeral Home Chapel with Don Black officiating. Interment will be in the Gibson First Baptist Church Cemetery. A native of Richmond County, while living in Jefferson and Glascock Counties all of his life, a sportsman, he loved hunting, fishing and riding his four wheeler. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelli Pittman Kitchens; his son, Christopher Kevin Kitchens of Stapleton; two daughters, Kristian Marie Kitchens and Destiny Eve Kitchens, both of Gibson; his mother, Mrs. Audrey Sheppard Kitchens of Stapleton; one brother, Larry (Joann) Kitchens of Gibson; one sister, Linda (Don) Black of Avera; one niece and nine nephews, three great-nieces and six great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. S.M. Kitchens. Pallbearers are Brian Davis, Greg Walden, Randy Black, Buddy Foskey, Dean Kitchens and Charles Reese.
