GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Jimmie Ethel R. Clark Chalker, 74, entered into rest Thursday, March 13, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 at James Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richard Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow at the Walden United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends March 15, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 Saturday evening at the funeral. Mrs. Chalker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and everyone she knew. She loved gardening and sports. The Atlanta Braves and Ga. Bulldogs her favorites. Mrs. Chalker was retired Caregiver for the elderly, and she was a member of Walden United Methodist Church. Mrs. Chalker survivors by her childrens, Janet (Joe) Hall, Wrens, Ga., Julie Clark, Hephzibah, Ga., Ray (Tracy) Clark Jr., Mitchell, Ga., Sheree (Charlie) Wylds, Martinez, Ga., her brother, Etheridge L. Rooks; sisters, Willadean Kuykendall, Virginia Stanfield, Sonya (Algernon) Usry, and Shelby Harden. Her beloved grand children, Eric (Rebecca) Clark, Chris (April) Clark, Holley Sparbel, Lee Hall, Timmy Silas Jr., Amanda (Michael) Clark, Cristal Clark, Lauren Wylds, Danny Wylds, and also five great grandchildren, Mikayla Clark, Shaun Clark, Allyanna Clark, Mackenzie Sparbell, and Tristan Clark. Mrs. Chalker was preceded in death by her Father, James L. Rooks, her mother, Pauline O. Faglier Rooks, Her brothers, John O. Rooks, James M. Rooks, her sister, Joyce Dixon, grandchildren, Michael Clark and Ashley Usry. Pallbearers will be Eric Clark, Chris Clark, Timmy Silas, Danny Wylds, Keith Usry, and Bobby Smith.
