Ruffin served admirably on the bench
Letter to the Editor
Saturday, March 15, 2008

The judicial system in Georgia marks a milestone with the announced retirement of Court of Appeals Judge John Ruffin Jr. His legal and civic accomplishments would fill this page. Suffice it to say no one is more deserving than Judge Ruffin to have Augusta's new justice center named for this man who has spent his life seeking justice for others.

Bob Young, Augusta

(The writer is a former Augusta mayor, and the Region IV regional director for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.)
