AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Thurman 'Pop' Soles, 65, husband of Mrs. Janice Soles of Coleman Ct., entered into rest Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held from His Community Church, Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 1:00 PM, with the Reverend Ken Young officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Soles was a native of Douglas, GA and the son of the late William and Jesse Mae Todd Soles. He had made Augusta his home for the past twenty years. He was a Pipefitter and Welder having worked most recently for Luker Engineering and Fabrication. Mr. Soles loved his family and his work, he was a member of His Community Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Soles is survived by his son, Todd M. Soles of Augusta; his daughters, Kimberly Soles Yzquierdo of Orlando, FL and Crystal Chyrie Soles of Augusta; brothers, John Edwin Soles and Joe Warren Soles both of Douglas, GA; sisters, Vida Mae Musgrove and Pearl Weatherington both also of Douglas, GA; grandchildren, Amanda L. Yzquierdo and James F. Yzquierdo; and a great grandchild, Nevaeha D. Yzquuierdo. Active Pallbearers will be James McCRay, Wayne Combs, Tim Pratt, Nick Rains, Jamie Collins and Billy Sellers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Keenagers Group of His Community Church. The family will receive friends this Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
