AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Ernest Bell, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Aiken Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 2 p.m. at The Church of Deliverance in Springfield, S.C. with the Reverend Tyler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He leaves to carry on his beloved memory a wife, Birda Bell, Augusta; one son, Ernest Darnell Bell, Springfield, S.C.; five stepdaughters; two stepsons; one brother; one sister; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 6 p.m. at the family home for those in Augusta. The family will also receive friends at the residence of his brother March 7, 2008 at 6 p.m. for those persons in the Springfield area. The procession will leave from the residence of his brother on the day of services. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home in Springfield, S.C.
