BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Entered into rest Saturday, March 1st, 2008, Mr. Franklin W. Konarik, 37, of Beech Island, SC, son of the late Frank and Jackie Bailey Konarik. Born in Augusta, GA, he had lived in the area for most of his life. For the past five years he had been employed with Big Dog Tree Service, Augusta, GA. Franklin enjoyed shooting a game of pool at the Iron Horse Ranch and hanging out with his brother Thomas and best friend, Patrick. Family members include sons, Franklin, IV and Brandon Konarik, both of Beech Island, SC; brothers, Thomas Hester, (Teresa Mitchell) Beech Island, SC and Darrell Hester, (Alice) Warrenville, SC; and sisters, Debra Hair, (Warren) Beech Island, SC and Linda Cooper, (David) Graniteville, SC. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th, 2008, 11:00 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Billy Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian Ligon, Mike Lucas, Chad Ligon, Evan Evans, Tony Baker, Tim Silas, Joel Sanders, and Charlie Whighams.
