WALTERBORO, S.C. - Mrs. Hazel Wilson Horne O'Quinn, 79, of Walterboro, SC, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at the Colleton Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Doctor's Creek Baptist Church. Interment will follow at 3 pm in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, Georgia. Mrs. O'Quinn was born April 16, 1928 in North Augusta and was a daughter of the late Ollie and Essie Lee Wilson. She was first married to the late Robert Fulton Horne and was a former clerk with Woolworth's in Charleston. She was a member of Doctor's Creek Baptist Church, where she was an active member of The King's Daughters Sunday School Class. She will be remembered for her love of traveling, her love of cats and the outdoors. Surviving are: her husband, Vernon O'Quinn; daughter, Jennie Lee Horne Seitz of Beaufort; 2 grandchildren, including, Anthony Jim Mullins, Jr. of Beaufort; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Ann Horne Black; and a brother, Edward Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Doctor's Creek Baptist Church, Youth Fund, Post Office Box 2, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.
