AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, March 1, 2008, Mrs. Sally Jo Zdanwic, 63, of Augusta, GA. Mrs. Zdanwic was born in Winter Haven, FL and lived in Lakeland, FL for many years. Sally received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Florida Southern College and completed graduate courses in Special Education from the University of South Florida. She has lived in Augusta for the past 3 years. She was an elementary school teacher and retired from the Hillsbourgh County Sheriff's Office in Tampa, FL after serving 25 years as a law enforcement deputy. Family members include her sons: Thomas Bryant Dirks of Tampa, FL, John William Zdanwic IV of Dallas, TX; daughter: Sarah Holm Dirks of Villa Rica, GA; 2 grandchildren; sisters: Cornelia Anne Bryant of Fredericksburg, VA, Susan Bryant Parrott (Dale) of Evans, GA, Mary Bryant Ewing (Gifford) of Denver, CO, Kathryn V. Bryant of Atlanta, GA; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 4232 Evans To Lock Road, Evans, GA 30809 with the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Taylor officiating.
