Mrs. Zdanwic was born in Winter Haven, FL, lived in Lakeland, FL for many years and has lived in Augusta the past 3 years. She was a former elementary school teacher, a child abuse investigator and retired from the Hillsbourgh County Sheriff's Department in Tampa, FL after 25 years where she was a law enforcement deputy. Family members include her sons: Thomas Bryant Dirks of Tampa, FL, John William Zdanwic IV of Dallas, TX; daughter: Sarah Holm Dirks of Villa Rica, GA; 2 grandchildren; sisters: Cornelia Anne Bryant of Fredericksburg, VA, Susan Bryant Parrott (Dale) of Evans, GA, Mary Bryant Ewing (Gifford) of Denver, CO, Kathryn V.
