AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Heartland Hospice, Mrs. Barbara Roberts Carter, 82, wife of the late Ervin G. Carter. Mrs. Carter was a native of Litchfield, Maine but spent most of her life in Poultney, Vermont before moving to Augusta. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pierce Memorial United Methodist Church. Family members include her sons, Terry Roberts and wife Judy of Advance, NC and the late Ted Roberts; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
