NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Carlisle Harless, 83, of Pinion Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest February 24, 2008, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Reverend H. B. Johnston officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Harless of Parrotsville, TN, having made North Augusta her home for the past 54 years. She was a member of the North Augusta Southern Methodist Church, a homemaker, and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse. For a number of years she worked in the newborn nursery and in-service education at the University Hospital. The remainder of her career she taught at Augusta Technical School in the LPN program. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Paul W. Harless; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel & Linda Harless, Pontevedera Beach, FL; two daughters, Anne Schallenberg and her husband Earl, Plano, TX, and Julia H. Holiday and her companion David Butler, North Augusta; grandchildren, Mandee Lott and her husband Chris, Jeff Harless and his wife Christie, Laura Goss and her husband Glenn, Angie Shedd and her husband Drew and Brian Schallenberg; great-grandchildren, Taylor Harless, Carli Lott, Andrew Harless, Jacob Harless, Brendan Goss, Caleb Goss, and Madison Goss. Pallbearers will be Jeff Harless, Chris Lott, Brian Schallenberg, Drew Shedd, Glenn Goss and Chad McPherson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon until the hour of the service.
