NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Graveside services for Mr. Cecil C. Johnston, Sr., 81, of North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest February 27, 2008,will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Russell Scott Johnston officiating. Veterans Honors will be accorded. Mr. Johnston was a native of Hampton County, SC, having made North Augusta his home for the past 60 years. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, a former North Augusta volunteer fireman, and had been active in North Augusta Little League Sports. Mr. Johnston was the retired owner of Johnston's Frame & Alignment, husband of the late Azalee M. Johnston and an avid fisherman. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Butch & Susan Johnston, Sardis, GA, David & Cathy Johnston and Mark & Leslie Johnston all of North Augusta; a daughter and son-in-law, Azalee & Bobby Maxcy, North Augusta; a sister, Reba O'Banion, Bath; 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jason Adams, Johnathan Adams, Brandon Johnston, Bruker Parker, Robert Johnston and Brian Bragg.
