Ephraim, Sr. Pastor, Officiating and the Rev. Leroy Britt, Sr., Eulogist. Interment, church cemetery. Survivors are; 6 daughters, Mae Frances (Glenn) Johnson, Augusta, Janice ( Stephen) Johnson, Vernida (Frankie) Nesby, Pauline (Jeremiah) Robert, all of Louisville, Inell (George) Cunningham, Stapleton, Geneva Williams, Waynesboro; 4 sons David (Antoine) Smith, Louisville, Henry (Patricia) Smith, Wrens, Robert (Ann) Smith, Augusta, James (Jackie) Smith, Atlanta; 1 brother Lamar Avery, Orlando, FL; 2 sisters, Sally (Willie Huber) Smith , Stapleton ; 3 sisters-in-law, Ruby Brown, Pauline Crowder, both of Wrens, Ada Lee Smith, Stapleton, close friend of the family, Mary Reese, ; 27 grandchildren, 15 great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
