AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. George Arthur Hoffman entered into rest Monday, February 25, 2008. Mr. Hoffman born in Cook County, Illinois has been in the Augusta area since 1964. He was a pipefitter with Crest Industrial Services. Survivors include his daughters Heather (Allen) Britt, Hephzibah, GA, and Janet Bright, Grovetown, Ga..; son Matthew Lazar, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Allison Britt, Tyler Britt and Maise Britt; five brothers and two sisters. Special thanks go out to Tony Clark, Dan Shealy and all the co-workers from Crest Industrial Services. There will be no services held. The family will receive friends at Mr. Hoffman's residence at 2118 Boykin Road, Augusta until the time of the visitation which will be held Friday, February 29, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel.
