MEMBERSHIP: Currently 430 members participate in the club. Dues are $30 a year and include admission to five yearly parties. Interested parties have to have a current member in good standing co-sign their membership form.

MISSION: The CSRA Shag Club is an association of people who like to dance the state dance, the shag. Parties and other activities bring members together to preserve the dance.

"If you were going to join the club right now, we'll make sure that you feel comfortable doing the dance. If you don't, we'll introduce you to different teachers. Also, (members should) have some interest in helping with different kinds of events in the community," Mr. Keip said.
