A RANT TO THE people in Murphy Village. Get a South Carolina tag like you are supposed to have. This is not Tennessee or North Carolina. While you are at it, stop parking in the fire lanes.
SOUTH CAROLINA JUSTICES say the cost of prisons is a major drain on the taxpayers. It would be less drain if prisons went back to not coddling prisoners. Prisons are for punishment, so let them punish.
RANT TO THE CITY of North Augusta and the contractor involved in building the new city hall. Your huge banner both coming into and leaving the city is garbage. How does that banner pass the city sign ordinance. Ask Andy Jones why he left North Augusta. He couldn't even put balloons on his cars, but this contractor can hang that gigantic garbage -- it goes right along with Charles Martin village there on the left. The entrance to North Augusta just keeps getting trashier and trashier.
MAYOR (MICHAEL) BLOOMBERG, of New York City, is just using his political (power) against a South Carolina pawnshop owner who's suing the mayor for minding the business of South Carolinians. If it took Mr. Bloomberg two years to bring his charges of an illegal gun sale; clearly he just wants to scare off those suing him.
I KNOW THE BOWMAN family from North Augusta who lost everything in a house fire Friday, Feb. 15. Though no family members were injured, they lost two pets. They are the nicest family on the planet and would be the first to step up and help anyone else in any trying situation. Please reach out to this family in their hours of need. May God bless.
THIS IS A HUGE rave for Charlene in the ladies department at the Belk store in North Augusta. Charlene, your composure to the extremely rude customer on Sunday was beyond outstanding. I don't know how you were able to remain calm, but you did a great job! I called the manager on duty and said when it is raise time to give you extra.
THIS IS A RANT to the person that stole $200 of my daughter's fundraising money out of my wallet. And you know who you are, and so do I. I volunteer at a prominent place of business in North Augusta. I left my purse at my desk while going to the restroom. I was very sick and thought I could trust you. My daughter worked so hard for that money. You have broken my heart and killed all the trust in my young daughter's mind. You should be ashamed of yourself, and maybe, just maybe, you won't be able to sleep at night. Just think that I was there to help people and giving of my own time. You make me sick to my stomach. Paybacks are h---, and you will get yours. The good Lord will see to that.

I am a long time resident of North Augusta. I would like to see the grass area at the bypass from Hwy 1 into North Augusta cleaned up and taken care of. This side of town never seems to get attention, after all, it is one of the main entrances into North Augusta from Augusta.
hey they aren't worried about the entrances to north augusta look at Charles Martin Village. The condos are being auctioned for a inflated price when you take into account the enterior of the windowsills have mud piled high as well as the warped floors and lets us know forget they haven't been lived in yet the foundations have had to be jacked up because of shoty work. What happened to the building officials who was slack on their jobs the officials or the ones in charge above these guys. The new city manager really needs to address his problems but hey he can spend a little more just to be pretty and cover it all up as we wait for charles martin village to fall down. Maybe we should start the betting pool now. I say 5 years top if anyone ever moves in.

its not just murphy village some very prominent carolina business men are driving georgia dealer tags and they do not have anything to do with a car dealership. they just want to drive expensive cars and not pay property tax. I ask you how is this not tax evasion.
